COMEC

The history of the COMEC group began in 1970 in San Giovanni al Natisone, in the north-east of Italy, in a district universally recognized as the heart of chair production. This is the manufacturing sector that the company addresses, offering mechanical assistance and the supply of woodworking machinery.

Initially focused on the local territory, the activity soon developed abroad thanks to the adoption of a commercial policy aimed at acquiring new market shares and the development of ad hoc solutions for various customer requirements, thanks to the company’s strong inclination towards innovation applied to processes and products.

Precisely from the desire to expand its business with a perspective of continuous improvement, DLM was founded in 2008, a highly specialized  division for the production of all mechanical components of COMEC Group machines. Year after year, this division of the COMECGroup continues its growth through the acquisition of numerous companies in the market, improving their skills and preserving their knowledge – a true asset for any company.

Among them is Camam, a company with a rich history from the Italian region of Fiuli specialized in the design and manufacture of chair manufacturing machines, specific woodworking machines and special milling, grinding, cutting, plugging and assembly machines, which joined the group in 2012.

Today, the COMEC Group employs over 100 people.
